Cover Characteristics (1)

Sunday, 6 May 2012

As you all know I'm crazy about book covers so I've been on the look out for a book cover meme. I found an awesome one! Cover Characteristics is hosted over at A Muggles Magical Book Blog. We get given a theme and have to find five of our favorite book covers that fit it. Easy Peasy.
Today's theme is....
APPLES!!

I had to do it!
The first to pop into my mind was of course Twilight, the relevance to the
book the apple has I still have no idea!

I much prefer this cover!
I didn't much like this book but the cover I liked.
What is it with vamp books and apples?

Eve and Adam
This looks cool! GIRL POWER!
Also kinda ironic that the author's surname
includes the word apple :)

Nightlight: A Parody
THIS is more like it; forget Twilight
go get Nightlight. NOT a major motion picture but
it would probably make a better one than Twilight did!

I couldn't find another so enjoy this picture of a monster apple!

Do you know any other apple themed covers? Or more importantly do you like the monster apple?

haha scary apple monster!!! Eve & Adam looks like a really interesting book. I can't wait till it comes out. I didn't notice the author's last name was Applegate until you pointed it out! I like that Vampire Diaries cover! I've only seen the covers with Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley.

That monster apple looks kinda bonkers.

Thinking about it, I don't think I have ever read a book that had an apple on the front cover.

Unless the instruction book to my iPhone counts.

Boy Toy by Barry Lyga, and Bad Apple by Laura Ruby! They both have green apples, though!

Some good (and weird apples there). Great meme...

I always thought the apple / twilight thing was a 'fruit of knowledge' thing - Bella trying to find out what thedeal with Edward was and the offered knowledge comes at a price (like all things). Of course we know Edward's thing is sparkly stalker :) - if that's not the apple connection then I have no idea.
